Cortney Grant is a film director, artist, podcaster, creative, founder of Isa Vision Productions, and the author of the soon-to-be-released children’s book, Up the Hill of Life.

Born in Mount Vernon, NY, Cortney’s affinity for teaching and connecting with children began years ago in the world of swimming. He spent many years as a swim coach and instructor for some of the top high schools and colleges in New York City and Westchester, NY. He is a certified lifeguard, swim instructor, pool operator, and CPR/first aid instructor.

Cortney was inspired to write his first children’s book by his daughter, Isa. The journey of fatherhood has been a true learning curve for him, but one that’s filled with much joy. It is now his desire to pass on life lessons to not only his daughter, Isa but to all children. Focused on building his legacy, Cortney believes that Up the Hill of Life will be the first of many published books.
