NEW VISION WRITING SUMMIT

About the New Vision Writing Summit

Do you need a moment to simply refocus? Do you need a moment to re-envision your life, purpose, and future as a writer / author? God is doing a new thing, do you see it?

Life has truly dealt us some blows in the past few months. The unimaginable and the unexpected happened, and now it seems that we all are trying to figure out just how to move on in this new season.

Here at Vine Publishing, we get it. We are with you. We are also trying to move with this divine shift (because we know that in spite of it all, God is still in the midst of this...can we get an "Amen!").

But, we really do get it, and that's why we have pulled together a group of Spirit-filled experts to help you BELIEVE AGAIN, SEE AGAIN AND WRITE AGAIN.

Here’s what we will help you to do:

Reconnect with your story and rediscover your voice with The Art and Power of Storytelling

The narratives of our lives are meaningful, but how do we authentically, and effectively tell our stories in a way that allows readers to recognize the threads of connection that bind our life experiences together? In the session we will explore the power and importance of storytelling. We will also explore how writers can use the art of storytelling to authentically engage readers and invite them on a revelatory journey towards God, self-discovery, healing and restoration.

Write even when it hurts with Writing Through Trauma – Reopening Wounds

We all have experienced trauma in varying ways. Death, divorce, abuse, violence, rejection, neglect, racism, systematic oppression, life unexpected disasters – we have all had traumatic experiences. These traumas sometimes create wounds that never seem to heal, and when writing a book you may find yourself overwhelmed by pain of it all. In this session we will explore how to write even when the wounds are being reopened. We will explore how to write through trauma.

Discover a new community with How To Build Your Tribe & Successfully Market Your Book

Writing a book is one thing, but without an established audience you may find it difficult to successfully market your books. In this session we will discuss how to identity, build, connect with, and leverage your tribal community.

Think about new ways to be an authorpreneur with Transforming Your Book into Opportunities

You have successfully written and published a book, now what? Your book is only the beginning of your literary journey, and in this session you will learn how to transform it into opportunities that will allow you to make a greater impact while earning additional income.

Discover ways to expand your influence and impact more lives with Pitching to the Media – Getting Media Attention for Your Book

Media outlets are always looking for stories; always looking for experts in a particular field. With the right strategies you may be able to attract positive media attention for your book. In this session you will learn the best way to pitch your story and get the attention your book deserves.

Move beyond books with a panel discussion on Writing for Magazines and Popular Blogs

This is a panel discussion and attendees will be asked to submit their questions in advance.
